Mitch

Who am I?

Hi, thanks for visiting my site. My name is Dave Mitchell (please, call me Mitch!), and I’m a freelance iPhone designer & developer, based near Oxford, UK.

I’ve been working on mobile applications and games for over 5 years, from branded IP mobile games, to location based apps supported by a server back end. My wide range of experience and interests has given me a diverse skill set, ranging from programming languages like C++, Java & Obj-C to Python & Ruby, as well as a keen eye for detail and product polish.

As well as providing freelance design & development, I also run OniMobi, a brand new games studio getting ready to launch some exciting new games next year. Keep an eye out for more on OniMobi soon!

Experienced in all stages of a product life cycle.

I’m experienced in every stage of the product life cycle, from the initial design & prototyping, all the way to the QA and distribution. Some would say I’m a good all rounder, but I firmly believe that having a solid understanding & experience in all parts of a product, provides me with a unique perspective that I can bring to each part of development. It allows me to look ahead to see potential problems during design, and focus on the things during development that really matter.

Passion for quality, and an eye for detail.

I’ve got a great passion for building quality applications. Sometimes it’s the small things that can make the difference between success and failure. Being able to identify these things is an important part of polishing up a product into a finished article. When competition is so tight, and user reviews are incredibly ruthless, can you afford to miss the little details that make a big difference?
