The Good Beer Guide

The Mobile Good Beer Guide provides detailed information on local Good Beer Guide pubs, breweries and beers.

Working for Greenius Mobile, this app was designed & developed for CAMRA, a UK charity setup to promote real ales and pubs. Their Good Beer Guide is one of the best selling Beer & Pub guide books in the UK.

Greenius Mobile already develop and run a J2ME mobile product for the Good Beer Guide, and the task in this project was to bring an iPhone product into the existing service, keeping the slick, intuitive nature of the iPhone user interface, and matching it with the content provided by the book.

The app makes use of the built in GPS or Skyhook, to locate Good Beer Guide pubs near to your location. It also provides address & postcode searching, as well as London tube stations.
